Bobsled + Chariot + Snow plow... How could that not work?

More images to try and tease the idea into my head into something less ambiguous... Like turning up the dimmer switch.

I want the vehicle to be used for scouting the environment, and for it to be fast but powerful and safe. It would be unexplored territory so the vehicle would have to be sturdy to withstand the elements and any debris, fast to out run any dangers, but easy to hop off and on quickly to take a look around or to scavenge for things.
I like the idea of a snow plow type of shape on the front to clear any objects (
or foe) out of the way while exploring.
I also like the aerodynamics of the bobsleds and the slick bullet like effect it has making them look quite space

A glance at the environment age. Adding this sort of feature to the front would also give it the futuristic, high speed look i was after.

To get the consistency in mak
ing the vehicle fit in with the character and surroundings i have been looking at post apocalyptic/abandoned scenes or images. Even though this is mildly overdone i feel that is it because it creates such a strong alien atmosphere.

I am not entirely sure on the back story behind the setting but I will build on that as I progress with the vehicle and character.
I like the dark forboding atmosphere which i think would be very effective when coupled with the single chariot and helmed rider.
The story here of being the only person left after a major catastrophe is sort of what I'm going for, however, its more that the character has been sent out to scavenge these deserted cities like in final fantasy the spirits within where she goes out looking for 'life'.
The lighting in the surreal dream sequences is very appealing for the effect i have in my head. I

And so it begins, again.

Right, im a bit terrified of the 3D stuff. I think its just the mixture of having to have it industry ready + thinking about the most time effective way to do everything and then actually thinking of something that isn't out of your league so to speak.

When we first had our class lecture on transport I was instantly drawn to a Roman influence. I thought if a chariot, but a modern one being pulled by a force and not horses.

Roman Chariots
Egyptian Chariot

I then started to think of futuristic Roman Centurions for the character, with traditional inspired armour and helm but made from nano or futuristic materials. Im not sure if I want them to be human or a slight deviation from their form.
